Her search has taken her to exotic places near and far. Emunah is reported to have moved twenty two times since the age of seventeen a reality that fostered much growth and understanding within her life. In her late twenties Emunah sojourned overseas to East Africa namely Ethiopia where she and family traveled the country residing in Addis Ababa and the southern township of Shashamane. From there she journeyed over to Tel Aviv, Israel and Dimona where she lived and learned amongst the locals for four weeks. Her time spent overseas opened her eyes and aided her quest to reconnect and study ancient eastern cultures.
Now at the end of one leg of her own truth journey, Emunah has decided to extend herself to aid others along their way of soul-discovery and purification. Emunah blossoms the musical aspect of herself, appearing as Sojournah on the B'midbar project CD volume 1, singles Everything, Game Plan, Religion, Understand Dis and So Sweet are building blocks in her online catalog. Sojournah appears on several tracks with her husband, hip hop artist Ahkee. Together the pair has been featured in L3 Magazine a leading publication in the reggae music industry.
Emunah’s journey of soul improvement amplified the day she gave birth to her first daughter. This experience changed her outlook on life forever and propelling her to the next level of personal growth and development. Emunah and her five month old son can be seen featured in the 2012 May edition of Ebony online magazine. Her duty as a mother is one that takes precedent; motherhood has bestowed upon her a gift of deeper wisdom and longstanding patience. Her personal birth stories of miscarriage, stillbirth, twins and traumatic footling breech birth has fortified her mind and enabled her to have a deeper faith and stronger resolve in her Creator. In recent times she has begun to co-author a children’s book series with her eldest daughter.
Momprenuer, wife and mother of four beautiful children, Emunah Y'srael is a repaired soul, recovering from the emotional wounds and the debris of life. She is a lover of peace, laughter and truth.
