This article will be a mix of news, testimony and fact-finding so please prepare yourself, viewer discretion advised. A young woman named Taisha Hippolyte decided to share her detox journey with the world and this is what happened next. In the days and moments leading up to the now viral video she shared clippings of the new healing book she had purchased that warned against the dangers of toxic food from the SAD (Standard American Diet). Taisha uploaded photos with redlined portions of the text that spoke about dairy and the level of constipation that Americans experience because of their lifestyle. In the beginning days of her public journey her pleas for self-education and research on the topic of cleansing went almost un-noticed.
A few short days after she actually began the process, Taisha started “letting it all out,” on video. In a daring social media call to action she decided to show herself with rubber gloves diving into the toilet bowl and retrieving pieces of “mucoid plaque.”
She can be heard exclaiming, “This is day two, yawl and this is muqoid plaque.” Armed with a number two pencil which she used to fish out her pooh she can be heard saying, “WHAT, WHAT, are you serious…this is crazy, this is crazy, this is unbelievable!”
The short video concludes with the tinking sound of the number two pencil against her porcelain toilet.
At this point I must say we are going to talk a bit about this muciod plaque because many people question whether it is a scam or not. Full disclosure I am a cleansing enthusiast and have been for many years. This video drew me in, not because of shock or being grossed out by its contents, in truth I was exciting that this information was finally getting out to a broader audience.
"Death begins in the colon"
The videos hit over 1 million views in two days and the request started flooding in. Taisha’s page flowed over with people looking for answers to how, why and what they could do about their own bowel issues. The video’s creator appeared visibly overwhelmed and technology unprepared for her sudden success. For this reason I will share here one of the many options that can help in facilitating the needs of the people on the topic of cleansing the colon.
Interestingly enough the C3 Challenge is one of those options. The program speaks to the concerns of the people and is designed to meet the needs of potential cleansers.
What is the C3 Challenge? C3 stands for the Colon Cleanse Challenge and a simply search will tell you more of what you need to know. Basically, it is a group supported membership program that encompassed, removing mucoid plaque, mental debris and negative emotional energy from the body.
Interestingly, I just finished the 30 day portion of the program successfully, Taisha's video came one day later and is a testiment to the power of social media to get the word out.
Back to the Pooh Business
A quick internet search will have you of the mindset that mucoid plaque is a figment of some ‘health nuts’ imagination. A skimming researcher will land on Wikipedia’s site and quote their summary line which states,
“Mucoid plaque (or mucoid cap or rope) is a pseudoscientific term used by some alternative medicine advocates to describe what is claimed to be a combination of allegedly harmful mucus-like material and food residue that they say coats the gastrointestinal tract of most people. The term was coined by Richard Anderson, a naturopath and entrepreneur, who sells a range of products that claim to "cleanse" the body of such purported plaques.[“
Now if this surface material is as far as you are willing to dig for the truth then there is a possibility this cleansing process is not for you? Why? Because the process deals with many aspects of your body, mind and soul, being studied in what you are doing and why is important to your success and the success of those around. I speak from experience, please bear with me as I bust out my mini-soap box. I first tried to remove mucoid plaque from my colon back in 2005, this mind you is before the plethora of information that now exists on the matter. Since that time I have helped and continue to help others through cleansing experience.
Is it REAL?
Is mucoid plaque real, Yes or Nah? Here is a picture of my own personal plaque. Yes, I know gross right?
This picture is from last week during my most recent cleanse. For the skeptics who may say I thought she said she has cleansed for years, why does she still have plaque? Well in short I am a mother of four. I have been pregnant and or breastfeeding on and off for the past seven years. Pregnant and or breastfeeding mothers are advised against deep cleansing. So for me after my youngest recently weaned I decided to take this opportunity to get back on the ball.
How does it work and what’s the difference between this cleanse and just going to the bathroom?
Substances like Psyllium Husk, Bentonite Clay, Apple Pectin are a binders that can help to draw toxic debris and build up off your intestinal walls for the purposes of flushing them out your system. Many health consultants who make cleansing regimes tend to formulate the above mention remedies for the purposes of making into a drink/shake that one must drink for a prescribed amount of times per day.
Honestly, there are a host of companies who sell and promote the above mentioned products to get the desired result of mucoid plague removal. This being said personally I can only vouch for the company that I have used for the past ten years. They have longevity and have trained herbalist making the formulas that I use and suggest for use to others. Never the less I am far from a skeptic of other reputable companies because I have seen my share of more than enough successful “pooh session.”
At this point in the article/testimony/news report I would like to discuss the concerns of the people I saw who have and seem anxious to have their own mucoid plague experience. There are many things that one should have in place before one endeavor to do any version of this cleanse.
Firstly, I am not a doctor nor is the person sharing her personal experience in the above mention video. I have heard her say and I am echoing that sentiment to make sure that you are in the condition to do such a cleanse.
Disclaimer: Please consult your physician before starting any cleansing regiment.
Who should Not do this type of deep cleanse?
No children under 18 years old, pregnant mothers, breastfeed mothers, severely constipation individuals. One would be advised to look up their pre-existing condition before starting.
Since I mention constipation I wanted to touch on that shortly.
“ As many as 63 million people Americans — suffer from constipation yearly. ”
— The National Institutes of Health
The above is a quote from the National Institutes of Health. Constipation whether moderate or severe plagues old and young alike. Constipation is present when one has less than one bowel movement a day or has to strain when using the bathroom. There are many natural products that can help with getting you regular before you try deep cleansing.
If you want to learn more as stated do your independent research as well as speak to other who have successful gone through the process. Everyone is not able to go it alone there are alternatives such as support groups where you can share your concerns, triumphs and disappointment.
Lastly, congrats once again to Taisha for caring so much to share her healing journey with the world. Critics have ogled over her body movements, scrutinized and scoffed at her video, alternatively many comments under her video are left by people interested in the process of cleansing. I would say to those who are interested take your time and do your due diligence. The cleansing process is one that can help if done correctly and harm if done incorrectly. Toxins consume our bodies and world; many of us are on a mission to get them out. Keep in mind that the order of the cleansing process is just as important as the process it-self.
Your colon is king/queen as it relates to your elimination channels so before started any in-depth regime please make sure you ‘king/queen’ are ready.
